I'm looking for a family-friendly car.
Hi, I am looking for a family car for 3 children all in car seats. I am looking at the kia sportage and VW Tiguan and Niassan Quashqui .. and also Hyiundi i 35 as I think they could hold 3 car seats.. my query is woudl a passat hold 3 car seats either.. what would be the best and most realiable? any opoions would greatly help. Thanks

You will struggle to get three car seats side-by-side in a Passat, or any other mid-size saloon to be honest. Ideally what you need is a proper seven-seater with three individual seats in the back, such as a Volkswagen Touran, Citroen C4 Picasso or Toyota Verso. If you don’t like MPVs, then your best bet may be to check out options such as the new Hyundai Tucson or Kia Sportage – they’re significantly wider than the old ix35 and Sportage and may just squeeze your seats in. The outgoing Volvo S80 saloon is also worth a look.
