I'm in the market for a five-seat SUV.
Hi Shane, I am in the market for a crossover. 5 seater is fine and I only do about 6k miles city driving pa. I have a budget of €35k-€40kish. Would you have any views on best options. I've been considering Honda CRV, BMW X3 (bit pricey), Rav, Kia, Hyundai, Volvo 60. Any help in trying to decide would be really appreciated. PS, would like leather seats!

The new Toyota RAV4 Hybrid might not be a bad idea given your mileage and driving patterns, but take a good long test drive to make sure that you can put up with its CVT gearbox. A second hand Lexus NX 300h would likewise make a nice choice.
Other than that the hard part, if you're buying used, is going to be finding one of these cars with a petrol engine. With that kind of budget though I'd be tempted to buy new to make sure you can get what you want. Have you thought of a new BMW X1?
