In terms of equivalent value you're probably looking at a 2009 to 2010 RAV4, assuming that the trade in value of your ix35 is between €10-12,000. The problem is (or problems are) that that means trading down to an older generation RAV4, which is smaller, noisier and not as sophisticated as your ix35. I think you'll also struggle to find a dealer happy to do a straight swap - almost all will want to have some element of cash or finance in the deal.
