I'd like a petrol Tiguan...
I want to buy a VW Tiguan Highline with the innovative pack i.e. panoramic sunroof, heated seats, sat nav etc. Should I wait to see if VW bring out a petrol version later or should I go for the diesel. I think if they bring out a petrol version it may have greater resale value in a few years due to the diesel bad press ???

Yes, it does seem a bit of an oversight that Volkswagen hasn’t yet offered the 1.4 150hp petrol turbo Tiguan in anything other than base Trendline trim. Now, that engine is available in SE Navigation, SE-L, and R-Line trims in the UK, so it might be worth asking a Volkswagen dealer if they’ll order a car from the UK for you, or consider going over and bringing one home yourself. Or, as another option, you could consider the excellent SEAT Ateca, which does come in petrol 150hp form in range-topping Xcellence trim, and which is better value overall than the Volkswagen in any case.
