Hi, I’m selling my car which I had advertised on your website.i brought my car home from the UK and Last August I paid my VRT and got the NCT done as I wanted to sell it here in Ireland. I never taxed the car as it is sitting here in my garage and not being used. I don’t have a log book as I would have to tax and insure it. What form do I need to fill out so that the person can get the new log book? Thanks Damien
Hi Damien,
If you didn't tax the car and therefore do not have a VRC, the buyer will need to place their name in the RF100 form supplied and present it with the last six digits of the VIN number and with a change of owner form, especially if the car was not declared off the road within the prescribed time of clearing it through the VRT system.
