You should be able to press the DISP button on the steering wheel until you get to an option called SETTINGS PRESS AND HOLD, which will allow you to enter into the vehicle settings to change from miles to km. However, we have heard that some UK market Auris models from that era do not allow the settings to be changed and, in that instance, you’ll need a Toyota or trained technician with a diagnostic machine to change the cluster from miles to km.
