I put petrol in my diesel Golf...
Hi,My vw golf was half full of diesel and I accidently put €10 of petrol in but topped up immediately with€20 diesel.Was this ok to do.

It really depends on the Golf in question. If it’s a very old Golf, with the old 1.9 ‘Pump Duse’ TDI diesel then you might just get away with it. If it’s a newer 2.0 or 1.6-litre TDI engine, then you really need to get the tank drained and get the car to a garage to be checked out. Modern diesel engines work to incredibly fine tolerances and don’t take such things as miss-fuelling lightly I’m afraid.
