I need to choose between my cars.
I have to make a choice between two cars, an 04 Toyota Corolla with 128,000 miles or an 05 Opel Vectra Njoy 1.6 petrol with roughly the same mileage (205,000 km). Going to trade one of them in for scrappage deal. Which is better to keep. If I was to sell either privately what could I expect. Both are going great, and have NCT. Vectra had new timing belt and battery in October,

Generally speaking I'd say keep the Corolla and trade in the Vectra as, long term, the Corolla is more likely to be more reliable. That said, if you like the Vectra and need the extra space, then with a bit of care and attention it could be made to last, so make your decision on the basis of your priorities: ultimate reliability or extra space.
