I need to change a Kuga to private use.
I am interested in a 2016 Ford Kuga 2ltr diesel with 5 seats but is currently classed as a commercial vehicle. It is an Irish car. What would be involved in changing to a private vehicle and what costs are involved ie.VRT. Cheers

Hi Glen,
There should be no VRT implications as you're just changing the use of the vehicle. You will need to inform your local tax office of the change and, oddly, the annual motor tax will then be calculated according to the engine size of the Kuga, not its CO2 emissions.
