I need to buy a car that can show speed in both mph and km/h.
I need to buy a car that can show speed in both mph and km/h, as that is a requirement in Northern Ireland where I will be relocating. I intend to buy car in the Republic and have it re-registered in Belfast.

You would probably be better off just buying a car up north when you get there - all NI-spec cars will have mph/km/h speedos whereas if you buy a car down here, not only will you have to potentially go down an awkward road of specially ordering an mph speedo but you'll be paying VRT as well.
