I'm afraid there are no centralised online resources for service history. If the seller is unwilling or unable to supply a service history then you're only option is to try to track down previous owners or the garage/dealer the car was sold from or worked on. It won't be an easy process, especially with a 2008 car, which has probably changed hands a few times.
