Code 89 is a generic code on the receipt of which the car should be plugged into a diagnostic computer to determine what is causing it. In many cases we have found it to point to an issue with the sensor indicating that the bonnet is closed properly. That requires replacement of the bonnet catch. It may not be your issue, though, not unless the sensor starts working again once it's warm... Either way, get a good mechanic to plug the car in.
