I have €6,000 to spend on a used car...
I am hoping to buy a car roughly 2010/2011 in Jan 18 I have max €6000 to spend then. Previously drove a Renault Megane. No trade in. What type would you recommend? I live in the Southeast. Hope you can help.

It’s a slightly tight budget, but I think the best thing to do is play sensible here — it should be enough to get you into a Toyota Auris 1.33 VVT-i, which is as good, solid, reliable and dependable a car as there is. Shop around carefully and make sure you get one with a full service history.
