Without going down the MPV route it's very tricky to find a car with three full seats across the back. Skoda's Yeti is one of the few but there is a neat trick you can pull - there is a conversion kit that inserts a special platform into the back seat that can accept as many as four child car seats abreast. EP Mooney's Hyundai dealership on the Naas Road in Dublin sells and fits them, and they fit most brands of cars. Well worth giving them a ring. Note that we've not tried this system out for ourselves so make sure you do.
