Well, it depends what you mean by ‘mammy’ car — one woman’s drink is another’s poison after all. The best seven-seat SUVs are the Skoda Kodiaq (very new, but very, very good), the Kia Sorento (American-style, hugely comfy, lots of space), the Land Rover Discovery Sport (not huge inside but good to drive) or the old-shape Volvo XC90 (massive inside and out and reliable too). Any of those too mammy-ish for you?
