Hi Irvine,

Assuming there's nothing wrong with the neck of the filler in your car, try a few different 'depths' of pushing the nozzle in and instead of pulling the trigger fully, try gently applying pressure at first. Many cars build up air in the filler, which causes the fuel pump to stop filling, so that could be your problem. 

If not, get the dealer that sold you the car involved, telling them you've tried everything.
