Well, the world's your oyster at this point then - decent budget and you're over the insurance age hump. Lots to choose from in saloons from 2010 in that price range. How about a Mazda3 four-door? Great looking and fantastic to drive. Something more sober? We found a Volkswagen Jetta 1.6 TDI - not very exciting perhaps, but roomy, comfy and reliable. Something a little more high tech? How about a Honda Civic Hybrid? Ultra-reliable and you'll feel like you're doing your bit for the environment. 

Want something reliable and which really holds on to value? Plenty of Toyota Corollas around in your price range, just leave expectations of excitement at the door. Or, if you fancy something a little more stylish, we found a few Volvo S40s within your budget too.
