Hi. I am looking for a car that will accomodate 4 car seats. I am however finding it difficult to find something that still has a good boot as I will still need to hold a buggy and I am also conscious that I don't want a child practically sitting in the boot for fear of someone rear ending me. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi Laura,
There is a solution to this, and it involves a trip to EP Mooney on the Long Mile Road in Dublin. Although primarily a Hyundai dealer they do also offer a conversion kit for the back seat of a conventional car, which can allow it to take as many as four child car seats all side-by-side (there are restrictions of course). If that doesn’t work for you, I think the other good option would be a seven-seat Volkswagen Caddy Maxi Life. It’s a long-wheelbase, seven-seat version of the Caddy Van, and even with all seven seats filled there’s still a decent boot in the back. Worth a look, anyway.
