Hyundai or Renault for motorway?
For better motorway mpg would I be better off with a "(2006) Hyundai Getz CDX 1.1 1086 cc" or a "(2006) Renault Megane 2 1.4 Sportway 16V 1390 cc"

Hi Tiernan,
Generally speaking I’d say the bigger engine is the better one for motorway work, but I don’t actually think there’ll be all that much to separate these two – they’ll probably both get around 40mpg overall. In which case you should go for the Hyundai, as that generation of Megane was hopelessly unreliable.
