Hyundai i40 or VW Jetta?
I'm looking for a used car that's reliable as I will have to do trips from Waterford to Cork on a regular basis. I'm looking at two cars at the moment - a 2016 VW Jetta 2.0 TDI 110bhp with 115k km and a 2017 Hyundai i40 1.7 crdi 140bhp with 140k km. Both have a full service history and two previous owners. The question is which is likely to be the easiest and cheapest to maintain. Thanks!

There really shouldn't be much to choose between them in terms of reliability and cost to maintain, especially if they've both been well-maintained up to now. The i40 is a bigger car and a little more comfortable, but conversely it may be a little heavier on tyres and brakes. Try to take both for a decent test drive, including a faster road, to see which you prefer.
