Hyundai i20 or Suzuki Ignis?
New car: Hyundai i20 or Suzuki Ignis? Looking to get a new car (upgrading from a Toyota Starlet!), budget of approx €15/16k. Looking at the new Suzuki Ignis (find it oddly appealing) or the Hyundai i20 (a known entity). Which would be a better buy?

Hi Eoin,
They’re very different cars, really. The Ignis is technically more of a rival for the smaller i10, and it’s quite noisy and a bit crude, so unless all your mileage is in town, we’d go for the i20, which is much less exciting to look at than the Ignis, but which is a better car all-round.
