It probably comes down to the specific cars you're looking at rather than an easy answer to that question. They're similar in size and equipment, for example, though you may find the Clio better-equipped all else being equal. There is also a wider range of engines to choose from in the Clio. However, Hyundai has the better reputation for reliability and a 2018 i20 will still likely be under its manufacturer warranty.
