How would you rate the Opel Astra?
Hi, how would you rate the opel astra 2016 sri 1.6 diesel and how much should I pay for one with about 25,000km on the clock? Currently driving a 10 ford focus and not sure whether to upgrade to an astra or a golf. Do about 20,000k a year. Thanks!

Hi Miriam,
The new-shape Astra is really, really good. Well made, comfy, roomy, and with very sharp steering and a lovely driving experience. The only downside is that it has quite a small fuel tank, but that’s a pretty minor issue. That 1.6 diesel is good, but not as quiet as Opel’s claim of it being a ‘Whisper Diesel’ would have you believe.
