How well-priced in this Tiguan?

I am looking at a 161 Tiguan top spec with 47,000 on the clock. I have only just realised she is the old model which doesn't get the same seal of approval as the newer model. The price is 29,000. With it being the old model is too high a price and would the fact that she is the old model affect her resale value in a few years.

Our answer:

Hi Geraldine,

A price of €29,000 is very definitely at the top end of values for a 161 Tiguan, especially if it’s the old-shape model. We’ve found more than a few new-shape 161 Tiguans on offer for slightly less than that, including Highline models, so we’d suggest you have a shop around and find something that’s better value. It being the old model would definitely have an impact on the used value, down the line.
