Without knowing which light you are referring to, you'll need to first of all get the issue highlighted by the warning fixed. The light should then automatically go out. Sometimes they don't and need to be reset. This can be done by a mechanic, though sometimes it's possible to do this by referring to the manual of the car. Every make and model is different, however.
