Hi I have a 2013 Audi A5 itis a 2.0 tdi and I am sure it has a timing belt it has covered 104000 and I don’t have any service history so I do not know if the belt had ever been changed prior. When the belt is on its way out how would I tell Thanks
Hi Usman,
That engine does indeed have a timing belt. Officially it's fine to leave it until 210,000km, regardless of time, but I'd suggest that, as you have no service history, it'd be no harm to get it done earlier than that. There are not usually signs that a belt is on the way out, which is why they should be changed on time and to schedule.
