We asked Lexus Ireland about this one and this was what our contact had to say:

"Our advice would go to a Lexus Retailer and have the car looked at. We won’t give advice around re-conditioned batteries as its not something we do. There is a 15-year guarantee with our batteries once the owner has an annual hybrid health check at a Retailer as part of a service."
