On the steering wheel should be a button that looks like a sheet of paper – this is the Menu button. Press it, and then using the arrow buttons to cycle up and down, select Settings. There should be an option for Units in here, allowing you to change from l/km > mpg and deg C > deg F, which should change the km into miles and vice versa.
