Well, to be certain of a car’s history it’s best to get it history checked with the likes of Cartell.ie. Then make sure that all of the paperwork is in order, that it has a full service history and that there are no obvious visual defects or issues. I’m assuming it’s an Audi A3 Cabriolet? If it has mileage that low, be suspicious of diesel particulate filter issues, but other than that they’re pretty robust, so if it has the vital full service history, then it should be fine. As for price, well everyone negotiates differently, and everyone has a price below which they won’t go, so if she’s already said no at €20k you’re looking at at least €21k…
