Actually, the 159 doesn’t seem to be any less reliable than most of its rivals – though it does suffer from electrical gremlins (especially the engine management system) and the brakes and timing belts need regular attention. Check the front tyres for excessive or uneven wear too. Other than that, they’re generally pretty robust.
