How reliable is the Renault Megan 1.5 DCI Estate thinking of buying one its 2010 model with116000k on the clock
Hi Sarah,
Renault has really upped its quality game since the dark days of the early 2000s, but you still need to exercise a little caution. The 1.5 dCi diesel is solidly reliable, apart from a problem where the fuel hoses can work loose from their clips, causing a whining sound and engine vibration. The clutch wears out easily and is expensive to replace, the electric windows are a common failure point and the ventilation fan can be fragile.
