Hi, I'm looking at buying a 2006 3.4L Porsche cayman s with 94k miles. Just wondering how much the vrt would be for this? Thanks.
Hi Deane,
It's safe to assume that it will be in the top band for VRT at 41 per cent - that's for car with CO2 emissions in excess of 191g/km.
The challenge is to guess what value Revenue will place on the vehicle - the so-called Open Market Selling Price (OMSP).
If the OMSP is €20,000 for example, then the VRT would be €8,200.
