How much to replace an Insignia's chain?
Hi How much should an engine chain cost on a 1.6 CDTi BlueInjection Elite Auto Euro 6 5dr. 2016 (16 reg) As it’s at 71k miles and I was worried before I purchased it? Thanks in advance. Cordelia

Hi Cordelia,
You'll have to check with your local Opel dealer for a price on replacing the chain. It's not something that is scheduled, however, and unless the chain or tensioner fail, it should be good for the life of the engine. That is not high mileage at all for that engine so long as it has been serviced regularly.
