If VAT is due (there will be circumstances where it's not) then it will be 23 per cent of the cost of the car and 'shipping' it to Ireland. If you meant VRT then that will depend on the CO2 rating and the Open Market Selling Price (OMSP) of the car according to Revenue. If you give us the full details of the car (engine size, fuel type, power output, any other details you have), we can estimate it for you.
