How much to import a Honda Insight?
Honda insights and Toyota prius looks like siblings, but I can see new Prius around but no Insights. The 2019 Insight looks absolutely brilliant. Just wondering why are people not importing Insights but only importing Prius. Is it expensive to import the new insights? If so, how much would the VRT be from Japan for a 2019 honda insight

That model of Insight was never sold over here so there it's unlikely to be a popular import due to worries about parts supply and insurance.
The VRT bill would depend on the OMSP (Open Market Selling Price) that Revenue deems the car to be worth in Ireland and its CO2 emissions rating.
