As you say it is a W-reg, we’re guessing it’s a 2000-year UK import. It’s very difficult to give an exact price; intrinsically, 18-year-old 3 Series with small engines are normally worth only €1,000 or so. But you say your car has done only 6,000 miles… which makes it a real curio. To a BMW fan, it might be worth more like €4,000 to €5,000, but your buying market will be very limited. If, by any remote chance, it’s a pristine, low-mileage 1980MY BMW 316 (E21), then it’s a genuine classic car and worth much, much more; possibly well in excess of €10,000 or even €15,000.
