Ordinarily, a 2008 Passat 2.0 TDI with that sort of mileage on it – and we’re guessing it is miles, not km, as you mention it’s a 58-plate and that makes it sound like a UK import – would be between €4,500 and €5,500. But, without knowing how much a replacement clutch on one of those would be (parts and labour), then we can’t say by precisely how much the value of yours will be depressed; it may only be worth €3,000 to someone with a worn clutch, so it might be worth getting it fixed prior to sale.
