I have a 151 kia carens 220km mileage, damage to front bumper, passenger side, passenger door and wing scraped, clutch gone, fly wheel needs replacing, serviced regularly,4 brand new tyres How much do you think its worth
Hi Eilish,
Ordinarily, a 151-plate Kia Carens with anything up to 130,000km on the clock would be worth between €15,000 and €16,000. However, despite the maintenance record and new tyres, your Carens is clearly not in the best condition possible right now – and it’s very high mileage for its age, too. Realistically, you can’t just deduct the cost of repairs from the value and then adjust for mileage, because the condition of your car is going to put buyers off and you’re going to need to advertise it even more cheaply to get it shifted. We would recommend getting the clutch and flywheel done at the very least before selling, whereupon you might be able to ask €10,000 to €11,000 for it. As it is, you’re probably looking at €7,500 to €8,000.
