I think that sounds a bit ambitious right enough, but it’s a very hard car to accurately value as there are so few on the ground in Ireland. I would have said that €1,100 to €1,500 (depending on condition, history etc) would be about right. I think a call to your nearest Alfa Romeo dealer to have the car professionally valued would be a good start, but if it helps, Revenue’s online VRT calculator estimates a VRT bill of €734, and that’s for a 3.0-litre V6 version (the 2.0 isn’t included on the system).
