How much BIK on a Ford Ranger?
I’m looking at buying a Ford Ranger for commercial use, but I also want to use it as my main private vehicle. I presume that it employes the usual BIK system but I can’t figure out what rate of BIK that I might have to pay. It’s a 2015 3.2 crew cab.

Hi Cormac,
As of January this year, BIK on commercial vehicles has increased to eight per cent of its OMV (Original Market Value). That's usually in line with the new list price of the car when it was bought and is applicable every year.
So, if that Ranger's OMV was €40,000 when it was new, then the BIK now is €3,200.
