How long will a Qashqai's filter last?
On average how many miles should a new oil filter REALLY last in a nissan qashqai before it rusts to the degree it leaks oil so quickly the engine seizes? Not simply whats the manufacturers recommendation. Please. Thanks

Hi Hilary,
I'm afraid there's no way to answer that question, as the internals of the engine are more likely to suffer from lack of good lubrication before the external casing of the oil filter fails. Regular changing of the filter (and oil) is highly important, and that has nothing to do with the filter's physical integrity.
