That will depend entirely on the finance company or bank that you approach. Theoretically, there’s nothing to stop you availing of finance right now, but obviously some providers do like to see a longer credit history, and most will refuse to take overseas history into account. I’d start by talking to your bank manager or your personal financial adviser about this, and see precisely what you need to show. In some cases, a simple letter from your employer, setting out your earnings etc, might be enough.
