How is a crew cab defined in tax terms?
If I have a crew cab van for both work and family, what are the tax and insurance status' for the van?

If a commercial vehicle is used for any private use whatsoever, no matter how small, it most be declared to be a private vehicle for taxation purposes and the annual rate then depends on the engine size (even if it's newer than 2008). You'll also struggle to get private insurance on such a vehicle so make sure you do some research into that before committing to getting the van.
