How many kilometers would a 1.6 petrol 08 mondeo get you when the tanks filled up?
Hi Cian,
The 2008 Ford Mondeo had two 1.6-litre petrol engines available – one without a turbo (39.2mpg) and one with (44.1mpg, called the EcoBoost). The Mk4 had a 70-litre fuel tank, so – adjusting the mpg to litres/100km – you get 7.2 litres/100km and 6.4 litres/100km, respectively. That means, in theory, if you could attain the official fuel economy over the course of an entire 70-litre tank, you could do up to 972km in the non-turbo 1.6 and 1,094km in the EcoBoost; in reality, you’re more likely to get 700-900km from either car, driven carefully.
