No, that’s not out of the ordinary. Peugeot 5008s are typically bought as family cars, so tend to do higher average mileages than other vehicles, and at 27,000km (roughly) per annum so far, it’s perhaps a little on the high side for mileage but not anything to worry about. Also, there is no maximum limit on how far a car can go – provided it has the right care and attention from hereon in, there’s no reason the 5008 shouldn’t do another 160,000km without too much difficulty. We’ve heard of much older cars than this with more than a million kilometres on them still going strong, so 162,000km is nothing in comparison.
