How far on a litre of fuel in my Focus?

How many km can I get in 1L of gas for my 2005 Ford Focus?

Our answer:

Hi Kristy,

We can’t actually tell you without knowing precisely which petrol model of Ford Focus Mk2 you have. What we can say is that, excluding the high-performance ST and RS versions with the 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder engine, the Mk2 Focus petrol models used anything between 6.6 litres/100km (1.4 and 1.6 models) and 8.0 litres/100km (2.0-litre automatic), or 42.8mpg down to 35.3mpg. However, you can use the l/km figure to work it out, so you would get 15.15km from one litre of petrol in the 1.4 and 1.6 versions of the Mk2 Focus, and 12.5km from the 2.0-litre automatic; your car will be somewhere between these two figures, depending on its engine and gearbox.
