Is land rover discovery 4 wheel drive harder ion diesel than all wheel drive ? How many mpg also how much for BMW X3
Hi Martina,
Well, all Discoverys are pretty heavy on diesel, because they’re big, heavy vehicles, but there’s no actual difference between four-wheel drive and all-wheel drive; they’re the same thing, just with some nuances depending on the car maker and model you’re talking about. You should expect to get around 30mpg from an old-shape V6 diesel Discovery, maybe 40mpg from the new four-cylinder version. A BMW X3, assuming it’s the one with the 2.0-litre diesel engine, should get 45mpg in daily driving.
