How does the Mokka's 4WD work?

Could you please tell me if OPEL MOKKA X has a 4 WHEEL DRIVE WHICH IS PERMANENT OR WHEN NEEDED?

Our answer:

Hi Antonis,

It’s an adaptive four-wheel-drive system, which only diverts a maximum of 50 per cent of torque to the rear wheels when the system detects wheel-slip from the front. Normally, the Mokka X 4x4 runs in front-wheel-drive mode – on dry roads etc.
