How do old 520ds age?
I am considering chaning my old petrol BMW to a 520d. As money is scarce I am looking at around 2008. How did they age?

Not badly actually, but you do need to beware the dreaded N47 diesel engine timing chain issues. Most of those cars affected should have been sorted by now, but we would recommend only buying a car with a full BMW service history. In fact BMW dealers offer a very good two-year warranty on all used purchases that is well worth paying a bit of extra for.
