How best to sell my girlfriend's Micra?
I am after buying a car and my girlfriend is taking my old car. She would be looking to offload her car. It's a 00 Nissan Micra 98000m . It runs well but central locking doesn't work. Bodywork is in fair condition for the age. What would be the best means of selling the car and what would it be worth? Thanks

Hi Michael,
It's not going to be worth much I'm afraid - between €700 and €900 - but to sell it easily, get it clean (inside and out) and do your best to tidy up any knocks and scrapes in the bodywork too (a quick trip to your local motor factors will provide you with the tools you need) and it could be worth visiting a local mechanic to see how much it would cost to get the central locking fixed. If it's not expensive it might be worth doing.
Then, get all the car's paperwork together (every scrap you can find) and take lots of good, clear photos preferably against a plain background so that people can see the car in the ad properly. Then put it up on Carzone.ie and wait for the phone calls...
